 Tord Wingren, CEO

tordweb.jpgTord Wingren was, as the first CEO, successfully heading Ericsson Mobile Platforms into becoming the world´s leading mobile phone platform provider. During his Ericsson time he was also part of the core team who invented Bluetooth, and also responsible for driving the UMTS initiative within Ericsson handset side. He has since then also broadened his international career when heading Samsung Telecom R&D in London. Tord was also part of the founding group of Nanoradio in 2004 and joined also as a Board Member. In 2006, he was also part of the founding team of Digital Imaging Systems GmbH in Stuttgart, Germany. He joined as President and CEO of Nanoradio in April 2008. 

 


Thomas Rex, VP of Sales

Thomas Rex joined Ericsson in 1988 where he got involved in the very first GSM development project. Having held various management positions in the GSM organization in Stockholm, he moved in 1996 to Nippon Ericsson in Tokyo to pioneer 3G cellular technologies together with Japanese partners and customers. In year 2000, Thomas Rex headed up the mobile phone division in Japan. 
When Ericsson Mobile Platforms was established in 2001, Thomas was appointed head of Sales for the Asia/Pacific region. During a period of 6 years, he successfully built up a strong business from scratch and established a very large customer base, including several major handset brands in Japan, Korea, China and Taiwan.

Johnny Johansson, VP Quality Manager

johnny_johansson.jpgJohnny joined Nanoradio in October 2005. Johnny was previously the Chief Operations Officer and CEO of Spirea AB, a fabless startup company doing WLAN radios. Before that he worked 18 years for Ericsson Microelectronics where he held different positions in test and product engineering, product management and general management. During the last three years at Ericsson Johnny worked as Bluetooth Program Manager directing product development, new product introduction and marketing programs for Bluetooth microelectronics components. Johnny has worked more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry and he brings to Nanoradio a vast experience from new product introduction and outsourced production of communication components.

Alan Boyd, VP of Operations
  alan_boyd.jpg                                          Starting from the 1st of June 2010, Alan holds the position of VP of Operations in Nanoradio AB. Prior Alan worked for the past 6 years with Nokia A/S in Denmark, where he held management positions within Quality/Technology and Supply line management. He was key in developing supplier relationships with leading chipset platform supplier´s enabling Nokia´s strategic change form make to buy. Previously, he served as Operations manager for the Ethernet Products Division of Vitesse Semiconductor Corp., and before that as Operations Manager for Exbit Technology, a startup company acquired by Vitesse in 2001. Prior to 2000, Alan held several product engineering and managerial positions at Delta Microelectronics, Fujitsu Microelectronics and Compaq. 

Anders Nordzell, VP Customer Projects
 
andersweb.jpgAnders has 15 years experience from the telecom industry. His experience ranges from testing and integrating, to team and project management.
Anders has successfully been managing R&D projects in Bluetooth, GSM and other 2.4GHz WLAN proprietary systems.
He has work experience from Ericsson Systems, Wireless Solutions Sweden AB and National Semiconductors.

Magnus Sneitz, VP Core Development
magnus_sneitz.jpgMagnus has 16 years experience in the business, primarily focused on Program Execution. Before joining Nanoradio, he held management positions at Zarlink Semiconductor and was headed the business unit Simulation & Tracking at Cell ITS (now BAE System/C-ITS).
Magnus has a wide experience, ranging from executing world executing world class transceiver IC Development Programs for the medical business to developing a business unit for the international market regarding larger software and hardware integration programs within the defence industry.

 Mikael Rosenhed, VP Product Management 
mikael_rosenhed.jpgMikael Rosenhed joined Ericsson in 1993 where he got involved in GSM base stations system design. Between year 1998 and 2002 Mikael worked as GSM system designer and manager at Ericsson Radio Systems in Stockholm. In 2002 he joined Ericsson Mobile Platforms in Lund and started off as R&D Program Planning Manager and has since 2004 been executing Ericsson Mobile Platform programs as R&D Release Program Manager. In 2008 Mikael was appointed R&D Phone Program Office Manager at Ericsson Mobile Platforms in Lund. 
 
Carolina Anelod, CFO

Carolina joined as CFO for Nanoradio by February 1st 2010. She has several years experience from the telecom industry within Finance and Control. Carolina was previously the CFO of PlusFourSix AB, Scandinavia’s leading mobile marketing company. Before that she worked as Head of
Controlling at Glocalnet/Telenor and she has also experience from Spray Network AB, Relacom and ABB. Carolina has a Master of Business Science Administration education.
